Our lives are filled with relationships, whether it is family, friends, colleagues and partners. There is also the relationship we have with ourselves, which often gets caught up in the tangled web of relating.

This group is an opportunity to explore how we relate to ourselves, and others. Given that we are all shaped to some degree by our past experiences, the group can provide a powerful context in which to better understand and recognise patterns.

We are all familiar with how comfortable relationships can become, but the price of this comfort can be deadening. We lose touch with ourselves, fear being honest, find ourselves false, and blame others.

It is through others experience of us that we can come to know ourselves, and though sometimes painful, offers the opportunity for change and potential for meaningful relationship. This group can be a place to risk being genuine, to experience the value in conflict and to distinguish our past from the here and now. With this we can move away from the familiar ways of relating and step into the mystery.
